The Dallas Sidekicks to take the 2017-2018 Season Off

The fans and players alike are sad to see them go, but the Dallas Sidekicks will be taking the current MASL season off to plan ahead for the seasons to come. The management released this statement:

"The Sidekicks Sports Management LLC are opting to take the Dallas Sidekicks 2017-18 Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season off to allow for re-organization, with plans for a full return for the 2018-19 MASL season. Allen Event Center and the MASL are working diligently with the team’s management to adjust current agreements in order to make the Sidekicks return for the 2018-19 season a smooth and successful one. For season ticket holders who have already purchased their tickets for the upcoming season, they will receive a full refund for their purchase. Season Ticket holders can begin that process by putting in an email to tickets@dallassidekicks.com. The staff only asks that fans are respectful in this time of the volume and time requirements of each refund and promise to work tirelessly to see that all refunds are processed.

This isn't goodbye for the team, only "See you later" as they look forward to the 2018-2019 season with high hopes. Players, coaches, and management alike want to see the team at their best and they are taking this time to prepare and organize knowing it will give them the leg up they need to be successful in 2018.
