Dallas Sidekicks Announce The Signing of Carlos Videla
Dallas Sidekicks Head Coach and General Manager Simon Bozas announced today that the team has signed forward Carlos Videla.
Videla began his Sidekicks career during the 2012 ingural season. Videla was as a member of the Sidekicks team who played in the Central Division of the PASL. The team was led by former coach Tatu with assistant coaches Mike Powers and Casesar Cervin. The Sidekicks came out firing to start the second quarter, sending several shots off the outside of the goal box. Dallas forward Carlos Videla got the Sidekicks on the score sheet first at 4:33 of the second, thanks to an assist from defenseman Kiley Couch and hard work to elude the Heat defender and goalie for a tap in goal.
Videla scored 27 goals and recorded 17 assists in his 32-game career with the Dallas Sidekicks. Videla last took the pitch during the 2014-15 campaign.
Videla played three years varsity high school soccer for JJ Pearce High School and two years college soccer for Richland College. District MVP Senior Year in High School, High School All American. Won the NJCAA Division III
He has played for Independiente Rivadavia (Argentina), Red Express (USA), Solar Soccer Club (USA) and FC Monterrey (Mexico).
The Dallas Sidekicks will be playing its first home game of the 2016-2017 MASL season on Saturday, October 29th.
