Indoor soccer: Dallas Sidekicks name 2016-17 roster

On Wednesday, the Dallas Sidekicks announced their roster for the 2016-17 Major Arena Soccer League season.
The news comes just a few days shy of the club's season opener, scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Saturday from the Allen Event Center against the El Paso Coyotes.
The Sidekicks won't be lacking in familiar faces for this season, with stalwarts such as Fabinho, Cody Ellis, Mike Jones, Cameron Brown, Kiley Couch and Jamie Lovegrove back for the 2016-17 season.
Of local intrigue, Dallas will roster Plano Senior alum and midfielder Mark Santibanez, who was named Gatorade Texas Boys Soccer Player of the Year as a senior. Santibanez is the youngest member of the Sidekicks' 25-man roster.
